Model Railroad Trains

Z Scale model trains are the smallest model railroad train commercially available.  The Z scale is typically referred to as the 1:220 th scale train and offers the same operating characteristics as all other two-track systems.

The Z scale trains are popular because of the possibility to create complex and large railway systems.  In addition, the Z scale allows longer trains and smoother curves, thus making it a more realistic 'real world' scenario.   However, the advantages of this systems is also the disadvantages as the weight of the engines is very limited and thus cleanliness is key with the Z gauge train set.
