This site is dedicated to the everything Model RailRoad Trains. Model trains have been a huge part of my life from growing up with them in our basement to seeing the collection that my wife's grampa had in his basement.
As I was growing up my parents had an HO model railroad set. It included 4 (or 5 engines), full track, scenery and everything. My brother and I would race trains around the track with no clue to the authenticity or character that these model trains had. Looking back those were great days and a great way to interest your child in a hobby.
I think that these model railroad trains are curious glimpse into our past. Most kids now-a-days don't even know what a Caboose is. Model railroads use to be all over the place in houses, hotels and other places. Now they're mostly found in hobby shops and the occasional house.
